    One of the most common failures in this type of pump is motor failure due to lack of lubrication. The ceramic bushings in the motor cartridge are water lubricated and air in the motor will cause the bushings to seize.
    This motor cartridge fits either the 005 & 006 Bronze series pumps, the only difference is the seal. This replacement kit includes "O" rings for both types of pumps.
    It is not necessary to replace the entire pump should this happen. You can replace just the motor cartridge in just a few minutes. It is not even necessary to remove the pump from the system.
