SAFELY USE YOUR DOUBLE SIDED PAD Like rotary backing plates, double sided pads
have female 5/8" x 11 threads, but you cannot attach them directly to your
rotary polisher: ▪️ The buffing pad will screw onto the 5/8" male polisher
shaft, but the back of the pad will be against the body of the polisher; ▪️ As
the standard polisher spindle is longer than 11 threads, the shaft will emerge
on the front of the double sided pad, and you risk harming the paint. HOW TO
USE THE ADAPTER You can fix the adapter to the pad and then to the polisher,
or the other way around. Pad first ▪️ Screw the male side of the adapter into
the side of the pad that you will not use; ▪️ After threading the adapter into
the double sided buffing pad you can then attach the adapter to the 5/8"
spindle on the rotary buffer; ▪️ Press the Spindle Lock Button to lock up the
gears of the polisher and enable you to tighten the wool pad till it is snug
using a wrench. Polisher first ▪️ Press the Spindle Lock Button to lock up the
gears of the polisher; ▪️ Screw the female side of the adapter onto the
polisher shaft and tighten it with a wrench until it is snug; ▪️ Attach the
