Excellent therapy for Parkinson's and stroke patients as well as for other neurologic problems.
Gentle squeezing builds strength and coordination.
Excellent therapy after hand and forearm injuries and/or surgeries.
Freeze in a zip-lock bag for local pain relief.
Great for squeezing during blood draws, chemotherapy, dialysis, bone marrows, dental procedures, allergy testing, waiting for appointments, etc.
I am told that these make excellent juggling balls.
May be therapeutic for autistic kids.
    Squeeze during labor.
Trying to quit smoking or drinking?
These balls can help with that stress.
These balls are firmer than foam balls. These balls do not contain any liquid, rice or sand, but they have a rubbery, gel-like feel to them, and are great stress balls. They are solid; they are not filled with anything. They are more like the gel in a wheelchair cushion, even firmer. Gel can be liquid or solid. They bounce. They are not squishy. They were shipped in factory boxes labeled "gel balls." That is why I call them gel balls. If you require a soft, squishy ball, this is not the ball for you. However, I have arthritis in my hands and find these balls to be very helpful. These compare somewhat in firmness to the firmest TheraBand therapeutic balls. If you have particular needs in a stress ball, please consult your physical therapist and buy locally where you can try them before you buy them as I have no way of knowing how much resistance you need, or how soft or firm the balls should be for your particular needs. I can tell you that if these balls were sold by a physical therapist or in a fitness center, sporting goods or health food store, they would sell for more than I am charging.
